Twenty Years Designing Trips Across Argentina

Cultour is a licensed Argentine travel agency built by historians, guides and travel designers who have spent two decades showing this country to curious travelers. We don’t resell packages: we build each itinerary from scratch, choosing the routes, the timing and the people who will guide you. From a three-day cultural escape in Buenos Aires to a two-week journey linking Patagonia, Iguazú and the Andean North — every trip is private, flexible and designed around what you actually want to see.

Where to Travel in Argentina

Tango, architecture, football and the best food scene in South America. Three to five days with a private guide who lives here.

275 waterfalls on the edge of the jungle, paired with Buenos Aires. One of the New 7 Wonders of Nature, in a single week.

Bariloche, the Perito Moreno glacier, Fitz Roy and the End of the World. Our most complete expedition — and our most requested.

Tango and Malbec in one journey: from the European elegance of Buenos Aires to high-altitude vineyards under the Andes.

Salta, Jujuy and the coloured mountains of the Quebrada. The oldest, most indigenous Argentina — the one most travelers miss.

Planning a Trip to Argentina: Common Questions

How many days do you need to travel Argentina?

Argentina is the eighth largest country in the world, so distances matter. Buenos Aires works in 3 to 5 days. Adding Iguazú needs 7. A trip that includes Patagonia realistically starts at 10 days, and 14 lets you add Mendoza or the North without living on planes.

When is the best time to visit Argentina?

October to April for Patagonia. Buenos Aires is pleasant year-round, with spring (Sep–Nov) and autumn (Mar–May) at their best. Iguazú is subtropical and warm all year. The Northwest is at its most beautiful between April and October, in the dry season.

Can I combine Buenos Aires with Patagonia and Iguazú?

Yes — it’s our most requested itinerary. Both connect to Buenos Aires by short domestic flights, so a single trip can cover the city, the jungle and the glaciers. We handle the internal flights, transfers and timing so nothing is left to chance.

Are Cultour trips private or in a group?

Private by default. You travel only with your own party and your own guide. We also run a small-group departure with a maximum of 12 travelers, for people who prefer to share the journey.

What's included in a Cultour trip?

Private guiding, accommodation, all transfers, entrance fees and internal flights when the itinerary requires them. International flights are not included. Every proposal lists exactly what’s in and what’s out — no surprises once you land.

How much does a private trip to Argentina cost?

Our private trips start at around USD 1,200 per person for a six-day journey combining Buenos Aires with Iguazú Falls. A nine-day trip to Mendoza or the Argentine Northwest starts at USD 1,490 and USD 1,250. The complete thirteen-day Patagonia expedition — Bariloche, El Calafate, El Chaltén and Ushuaia — starts at USD 3,200. All prices include accommodation, private guiding, transfers, entrance fees and domestic flights; international airfare is not included. Every itinerary is quoted individually, so tell us your dates and we’ll send you a real number.

Do your guides speak English?

Yes. All our guides work in fluent English, and we also run tours in Spanish and Portuguese. Guides are licensed and most of them trained at the University of Buenos Aires.

How far in advance should I book?

For Buenos Aires, a few weeks is enough. For Patagonia in high season (December to February), book three to six months ahead — the good hotels and the best guides go early. Write to us and we’ll tell you honestly what’s still available.
