Architecture Tour
Buenos Aires was built in layers — and each one tells you who the city wanted to become.
The Architecture Tour is a private walk through those layers: the Parisian palaces of an elite that dreamed of Europe, the Art Nouveau facades with their sinuous secrets, the eclectic madness of Palacio Barolo built as a monument to Dante, the monumental Congress, and the modern lines that pushed the city into the twentieth century. Behind every style there’s a political project, an economic boom or crisis, a wave of immigrants leaving their mark in stone.
Our guides — trained in social sciences at the University of Buenos Aires — read buildings the way others read documents: as evidence of the city’s ambitions and contradictions. You’ll never walk past a facade the same way again.
